Hurricane Irma was a category 4 hurricane and it hit Florida. And left a lot of damage. A lot of people evacuated to go to a safe place but some stayed and got through the storm. 9/11 was terrorist attack that took place in New York. Two  planes chrashed into both of the World Trade Center towers. At first people that were watching it they thought the planes were having a malfunction but then when the sencond plane crashed they weren't so sure it was an accident. Everybody who was above where the plane crash they were stuck so some of them started jumping out the window and 2,977 people died and hundreds more got injured.

Holocaust book club reflections

     In my book Night  the main character Elie Wiesel repeatedly showed he loved his father. When they first got to the concentration camp he did not want to get separated from his father. Through out the book they gave many examples of Elie not wanting to leave his fathers side. Like when they were in the concentration camp he always wanted to be with his father. When they got out of the cattle car Elie’s father was sent to a line were people that could not walk well were sent and Elie saved him from being killed, the reason why he went back for him was because they had gotten separated. Another time when Elie kept his farther alive was when they were in the death marches and Elie’s father wanted to take a nap but Elie did not allow him because he said his father was the reason for him living. This shows that he did not want to be left alone. These examples also show how Elie always had his fathers back and he would care for him. This teaches me to care and have my ...
